How Do I Approve a Recommended Prescription?

While you are able to enter a prescription request for a Healthcare Provider to approve, your Healthcare Provider is also able to send you recommended prescriptions to review and accept. 

This guide will show you how to: 

• Review prescription details
• Choose a Pharmacy
• Update personal information
• Approve recommended prescriptions

First, you will login to your Push Health profile. After you select your name, you should see a screen that looks like this:

Click on the New Prescription button that is highlighted in red. That will bring you to the next screen:

You should see five steps on the Recommended Prescription screen:

1. Review Details
2. Choose Pharmacy
3. Review Fees
4. Patient Information
5. Terms of Use

Each section breaks down as follows:

Step 1 - Review Details

Here you will be able to verify the prescription details match your needs. If this prescription is incorrect, or you do not wish to accept this prescription, you are able to cancel the prescription by clicking the Cancel button below the medication details. 

Step 2 - Choose Pharmacy

On this section you will see what pharmacy your Healthcare Provider selected for the prescription to be sent to. If this is not the pharmacy you wish to use, you may change the pharmacy by clicking the red Change button. A search bar will appear asking you to enter the zip code of the pharmacy you want to chage to. after entering a zip code and pressing Search you should see a list of pharmacies to choose from. (Example below)

Step 3 - Review Fees

On this step you will see the cost to approve the prescription. The Healthcare Provider sets the approval fee for recommended prescriptions. If you have any questions or concerns about the fee, you are able to message the Healthcare Provider directly to discuss.

Step 4 - Patient Information

This section reflects the personal information that will be included on your prescription. If anything needs to be changed you can do so from this section before approving the medication.

Step 5 - Terms of Use

After you click the two boxes agreeing to Push Health's Terms of Use you will be able to press the green Next button to continue.

Finally you will see the payment screen:

To finalize your prescription please enter your payment information and click the green Submit button.

And that's it! Your prescription recommendation is approved and will now be submitted to the pharmacy selected.
